#60 Summer's Treat
Days fly by like rivers going
Down the mountain rivers flowing
Birds in the trees sing so sweet
Never knowing who you'll meet
Love is that rive always churning
Deep in you heart it's always burning
Never forget that love so pure
Always knew it wasn't for sure
Tears fall like summer shower's
I'll never forget those terrible hours
Living in that little room
Hiding in my secret tomb
Hiding from those hateful words
One's I wish I had never heard
I should have known it wasn't true
I wish I'd known what he would do
Now I lie here on my bed
All the words replays in my head
Tears falling like the rain
I still feel that terrible pain
I've moved on since that day
But those dreadful words are here to stay
Still regret what I have done
Never forget that summer sun
Tears ran down my innocent cheeks
But still my sun tends to peek
Tears in the afternoon

Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the
new.-- Henry David Thoreau
