This is the place to search for a sad poem for that special person. The
best resource for quotes and sad poetry.
The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out
the joy.

#77 Inside of Me
All these things I find inside
I keep trying to hide
I don't want to face them
For I keep them well hidden
Facing the problems I have
I don't want to do
I'll find a way around it
Instead of working fully through
I only see what I want to see
And try to ignore the rest
But as time goes on
It becomes a difficult task
My world seems black and white at times
Why do I do this
Why can't I handle it on my own
How will I survive the real world
Out there all on my own
To escape reality
Even for just a while
Would satisfy me
Away from this world
I feel so alone in
Away from the dangers
I know there is something far better out there
I just need to find where
Find the place where true happiness lies
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the
other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and
the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
--Carl Jung
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just
a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the
middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance
to float up. And it will.
--Birdee Pruitt (Sandra Bullock) Hope Floats
Sadness flies away on the wings of time.
