best resource for quotes and sad poetry.
The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out

#63 Swinging
I sit up in my room,
While I cry on my own.
There is a chill that runs through me,
All the way to the bone.
It is so unreal,
What this feeling does to me.
Sometimes I wish,
That there was some sort of remedy.
I put my back,
Against the coldness of my wall.
I sit, I contemplate,
And I hate them all.
It is amazing to me,
What this feeling makes me feel.
Most of the time,
It seems so surreal.
I sit up here and fight my self,
Until I look a fright.
Many people want me dead,
So I try with all my might.
I scream out loud,
'Till people think I am insane.
I look at them and laugh,
Because their lives are so mudane.
They don't fight the demons,
As much as I do.
They don't worry about looking in the mirror,
And having their own body say, Boo!
These demons that possess me,
Just make me want to cry.
So now I sit up here,
And I just wish to die.
I want to be clean,
And free of all this sin.
I want so much to be alone,
Away from all my kin.
Everyone thinks I am ok,
But nobody knows that I'm not.
So I let my self drop dead,
As I swing from this knot.
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the
other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and
the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
--Carl Jung
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just
a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the
middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance
to float up. And it will.
