This is the place to search for a sad poem for that special person. The
best resource for quotes and sad poetry.
The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out
the joy.

#59 Thank You, Allison
Thank you!
Thank you, Allison,
For your smile, your laughter
And for teaching me about life
Your passion for life was contagious
You laughed and played with such intensity
Bath time, dinner time, bed time, whatever
You lived each moment joyfully
The pain you felt, both physically and emotionally
Ripped at my heart and tormented my soul
You bravely endured the pain, smiled
Then reached out to heal others
Each night after you were fast asleep
I laid my hands on you and prayed
I asked God to take from me whatever he needed
So you could live without pain
I know now that God didn't want anything from me
He just wanted me to enjoy you
And to learn from you
How precious life is and how powerful love can be
Your spirit touched many, many lives
Some we know, others we do not
All who saw you were instantly drawn to you
Those who knew you could never get their fill
Many hearts are breaking
I know you would never want that
You were my teacher, my inspiration, my joy
I have to say, Thank You, Allison
For teaching me to see the joy in every moment,
To cherish the memories and laugh often
For touching my life and filling my soul
With your bubbly spirit and inconceivable strength
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the
other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and
the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
--Carl Jung
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just
a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the
middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance
to float up. And it will.

Sadness flies away on the wings of time.
