best resource for quotes and sad poetry.
The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out

#57 My Hero
I hate that you left me all alone and before you left I had to say,
my goodbye over the phone.
Many can't picture a soldier like you dead,
my daddy who should of died old and happily on his bed.
I'm mostly upset with myself for letting you down.
I can't take the insanity anymore you need to be found.
You were more than just my dad, but also my best friend.
You stood beside me and for you I would always defend.
You had taught me so much before you left
and for you I tried my very best.
My happiest moments were seeing you in the stands cheering me on,
you were my inspiration leading me to victory, but now you're gone.
And, when I would win I would wait to see your face light up,
like the sight of a child getting a new pup.
I didn't just do it for myself, but for you too.
Just so you would be happy and have something new to brag to your crew.
You're the reason I want to succeed.
I'll make you proud of me one day, they'll see.
I wish you the best and hope that you are found and peacefully put to rest.
Many don't care and think of you as a loser, a zero.
Nobody's perfect and to me most importantly you were my hero.
Dedicated to my father
Donny Fulcher, I will always love you and honor the Fulcher name
Love Always, your #1 fan
Rest in Peace
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the
other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and
the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
--Carl Jung
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just
a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the
middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance
to float up. And it will.
--Birdee Pruitt (Sandra Bullock) Hope Floats
Sadness flies away on the wings of time.
