best resource for quotes and sad poetry.
The walls we build around us to keep out the sadness also keep out
the joy.

#52 Regrets
A man lies silently on his bed,
Staring endlessly into a void,
Fearful to shudder a slight movement,
Mind-absorbed to notice the surroundings,
Reminiscence unforgettable memories in the past.
Waking day by day with little motivation,
No support drenched in sorrow,
Endless efforts just to rise the broken body,
Removed of courageous confidence,
Battered to the deepest pits
Where evil emerges from pitiful depression.
Darkness hungers for his fresh,
Shadows consume him bit by bit,
Each swallow devours his soul,
Unbearable shrieks haunt the living,
Fragile struggles succumb to overwhelming shadows,
A shame glitters down his eyes before the end.
Night passes as soon day begins,
Cool clouds gather in the sky,
Yet crisp warmth fills the soul,
A new day symbolizes shining hope,
The nightmare ends with no memory,
A dream unable to recall.
Praying for a beautiful day,
Smiling from the soothing thought,
Eager to share this newfound happiness,
Within reaches of the outside world,
Suddenly the man collapses from agony,
Uncontrollable coughing,
Blood spatters on the hands,
Still anguish grips the heart.
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the
other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and
the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
--Carl Jung
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just
a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the
middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance
to float up. And it will.

Sadness flies away on the wings of time.
