#26 To my devoted mother

Today I want to write
to the most perfect human being on the earth
Today I want to pour in verses
the best feeling
that exists in my soul
Today I want to capture
all my endless maternal love
on the infinite paper of my mother's soul
Today I want to write to my Mom!

Mother:
You are the most beautiful creator's miracle!
You are the tenderness contained in a tear
of love shared by pure souls!
You are the wisdom that walks slowly
in the still afternoon of life

Mother:
You are the prayer that rises to the Creator
every morning and descends converted
in faith, rain to fecundate the earth

Mother:
Time braided your hair with silver threads
manufactured in the looms of the heaven
by industrious and pure hands
of black little angels and mestizos little angels
to adorn your face and to crown your virginal head

Mother:
You were my shelter
and my refuge in the stormy nights
when the darkness and the lightning
frightened my soul and I ran to hide
in your lap, searching for protection
Today, even in maturity,
you continue being my refuge
in the changes of life

Mother:
Your blessed, hard-working and good hands,
they are the true expression of the kindness
that is distributed in buds
and flourishes every day
to share their endless love through the road

Mother:
The sound of your voice was my first symphony
and it will be the divine music
that nurtures my soul forever
in my hours of melancholy and sadness,
From you I learned the first letters
in the genesis of my life
and through you I learned how to praise God
and be a wiser man

Mother:
Although time wrinkles our skin
and the illnesses come,
although your walking became slower, as time went on,
Your wisdom grew with the years
and your soul doesn't age
You will be forever my perfect model
through the roads of life,
You will be forever the best mom in the world,
The mom of my brothers and sisters
You will be simply, my dear mom! !
