#81 A view from the sun
For a moment let's enter a fantasy land, and suppose we can join the sun, on a

sight-seeing tour of part of this globe, and

what if he were someone, who could see and

speak as he looked below at this world of

water and clay. Let's go on a tour and join

him in flight and see what the sun has to say.

For untold years I've made this trip,

surveying the vast Atlantic. What memories

I have of historic ships, from the Mayflower

to the Titanic! Now my horizon lights up the

coast of a land so pleasing to me, with a

statue that speaks of the huddled masses,

yearning to be free. Awake America, for I've

put into flight those stars that have dotted the sky, and replaced them with my great shaft of light, causing night's

mysteries to die. I love this land with it's open display of the freedom that everyone craves. Remember, I also observe

other lands where the people are nothing

but slaves! This country is one of a kind

in this world. It's freedom is cherished

by all. Foreigners gamble to enter this

land, so one day they can stand tall.

"ell, someone's sunset is another's sunrise

That's a way of life with me. The Pacific

now is unfolding beneath and this great

place is harder to see. As the shadows

lengthen on this beautiful land, please

remember as this day ends, if the clouds

don't dampen your spirits or mine, "I will

see you tomorrow my friends!"

"If you want to know the past, to know what has caused you, look at yourself in the PRESENT, for that is the past's effect. If you want to know your future, then look at yourself in the PRESENT, for that is the cause of the future."
--Majjhima Nikaya

"Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You're able to benefit from the unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment."
--Ralph Marston

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
