#52 OUR LIFE TOGETHER WITH GOD
We met so very long ago
We were young back then.
Close your eyes for a moment
Remember that day when.
We stood there together
and promised for all time.
I would always be yours
and you'd always be mine.

We made our vows together
And to God up above
To Love, Honor, and Cherish
To always walk in Love.
To be the kind of Christians
He wants us to be.
To make a life together
and raise a family.

Now our children have their children
and their children also do
And still we are together
In a love thats tried and true.
A Love that has known happiness,
A Love that has known tears
A Love that has seen God at work
In our lives year after year.

We took our fears and pain to Him
He mended them with care
And when it came to Blessings
We had a lot to spare.
God has been so good to us
Thanks does not seem enough.
Even in troubled times
When things were kind of rough.
Knowing He was there beside us
Every step of the way
Gave us courage to go on
day after day.

On this anniversary
We celebrate today
Let us not forget
To bow our heads and Pray
He Promises Eternal Life
His promises are true
Turn to God with open heart
And He will walk with you.
