#45 ETERNAL LOVE
The day we met, I fell in love,
as I looked into your eyes.
I saw my future staring back,
as my heart began to rise.

You're the woman of my hidden dreams,
my soul mate from above.
The woman who could melt my heart,
with a single touch of love.

I knew you were the chosen one,
that God had chosen first.
Your spirit gave a needed drink,
to one that died of thirst.

I love you when the sun goes down,
and when it reappears.
Your strength I feed on every day,
when facing all my fears.

Your beauty lingers in my mind,
just like an Angel's face.
And the sweetness that your spirit shines,
I carry place to place.

That glow of God, that lies within,
you truly can not hide.
But the outward glow is just a taste,
of what is found inside.

I'm so proud to be your husband,
that I'm bursting at the seams.
You're a sapphire shining in my soul,
you're the treasure of my dreams.

For thirty seven years my world had been,
filled with pain and strife.
But the two years you have been my bride,
have been the best years of my life.

I wouldn't trade one single day,
for the ransom of a king.
Because when I hold you in my arms,
I can hear the Angels sing.

I look forward to our third year now,
as I do my very breath.
In sickness & health, my love is yours,
unto my very death.

But death can't even take away,
all the love that we have stored.
Because you & I have Eternal Love,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

And the love we've shared here on earth,
that set our spirits free.
