#191 Reverie
I have reached the age of 80 years,

Each day is a precious jewel to me.
I have put aside my everyday fears

And marvel at sounds I hear and things I see.
The birds that sing while in full flight,

The soft caress of the southwest breeze,
The bright moon's glow that bathes the night

And brings to my life hope and ease.
All these I accepted as my just due.

Nature at work, and I did not see
The miracles that were given to all but a few.

Now I know they were also meant for me.
