#123 The Girl With Clipped Wings
There once was a girl who had a dream
The mom told her to fly to it

but the dad had clipped her wings
he said to follow his dream

but the girl had one of her own
and every night the girl would cry in a never endless stream

the dad always had her under his eyes
and clipped her wings some more every time she lied

time went by and she grew weary
of having to become someone she's not and the pain of having her wings cut so severely

the wind called to her once and told her to climb on its back
she shook her head, she told the wind,

"Dreams and wings are what I lack."
the wind stopped blowing and listened to what she had to say

she told him, and during that time her wings grew. The wind dried her eyes and told her not to cry today
he told her not to cry

and to jump on his back
because she could fly

she climbed his back and flapped her wings
he asked her which way to go and she replied, "to my dream."
