#46 Memories
Here we are in our graduation robes...
Remembering our mischief schemes...
Playing in our precious playground...
Watching our silly, old teacher assistant exercising while napping time...
Playing in our bedroom when it is near midnight...
Getting our first A and our first F...
Got through Elementary school slowly...
Remembering nothing but recess...
Got through middle school fast...
My! How the years flew by!
Remembering our freshman year...
Boy! Is it hard!
Lots and lots of homework!
Love some classes and hated some classes like English...
Now it is all over and here we are in our graduation robes...
Watching our families in tears...
My mom thinking, "That's my little girl up there, all grown up!"
My daddy thinking, "I'm so proud of my little girl made it this far."
Our teachers telling other staff, "We're having a party to celebrate for finally those brats are leaving us into peace! At 7:30pm, okay?"
Our younger friends wondering what will be like when they are gone...
Our enemies thinking, "Finally, they will be gone, now we can rule!!"
Walking up the aisle, giving the speech...
Walking across the stage to get our diplomas...
Walking down the aisle and out of this school...
Leaving behind a ton of memories...
Soon we are off to college and to real world...
To make a lot of more new memories...
You are educated. Your certification is in your degree. You may think of
it as the ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an
alternative. Think of it as your ticket to change the world.
Your families are extremely
proud of you. You can't imagine the sense of relief they are experiencing.
This would be a most opportune time to ask for money.
The purpose of a liberal education is to make you philosophical enough to
accept the fact that you will never make much money.
