#109 Lost In Space
I fell off the earth when I was young,
I was walking and managed to slip.
I keep trying and trying to clamber back on,
But my fingers just won't seem to grip.

Look over there at the sun's brilliant glare
Close my eyes or I'll surely go blind.
This is a disaster, the earth's spinning faster
And I'm falling further behind.

I'd hold out some hope for a friend with a rope
'Cause I didn't bring a cellular phone.
Although there's a view I'd prefer a rescue
Because I'm feeling completely alone.

If help don't come soon, I'll be on the moon.
I've heard that it's really quite cold.
I'll just sit up there in a reclining chair
And count stars while I wait to grow old.
