#98 My Star
My Star
I once met a star,
it shined brightley for all to see.
I had never met a star before,
this was very special to me.

I met it some time ago,
it was obvious that it was delicate.
Never had I seen one like it before,
its beauty I had never met.

It lived in a hazed galaxy,
looking for a shed of light.
Something to hold on to,
something to get it through the night.

It reached its luminous hand out,
and embraced upon the moon,
Drew it closer and closer,
and became friends soon.

The star realized how much it meant to the world,
and that it was very unique.
It shined brighter and brighter to light up the galaxy,
a star for everyone to see.

She never failed when the moon needed her,
always beside her too.
The star that I am speaking of,
is, of course, you!
