If i had to tell a story,
I know what it would be,
A story of true friendship,
and how it's meant to be,
A story that has meaning,
As true as stars above,
A story as old as time,
Another form of love.
Yes our friendship has a story,
It grew and grew and grew,
It started with our laughter,
A story rare but true.
Like sands upon the desert,
Like fishes in the sea,
Like stars above in heaven,
Our friendship will always be,
For your there for me always,
And I am there for you,
I promise to be loyal,
I promise to be true.
To take care of all your sorrows,
To try to help you through,
To understand the meaning,
Of what's important most to you,
I know that on your shoulder,
There's a place for me to cry,
I know that with your help and God's,
I will see a bluer sky.
Lets share together laughter,
Lets share together tears,
Lets share our special moments,
Growing with each year.
So that's a story of a friendship,
A special one at that!
Written with so much care and love,
Only real friends can manage that.
