#27 Another Lesson Learned
We only seen each other once or twice
To me he seemed pretty nice
He had a charm that over took me
It made me to where I could not see
He was always on my mind
the thoughts made me so blind
My friends all said he was bad
All that did was make me mad
I was out to prove them wrong
I thought without him I could not go on
We had such a blast
But time flew by so fast
He was in it just for fun
Before I knew it we were done
I had given my heart and all
My friends told me I didn’t see what they saw
A shoulder to cry on was all they could lend
The only thing left was my heart to mend
Next time my friends advice I will take
So never again my heart will break
Even though he is what I used to yearn
I now know he is just another lesson learned.
