#100 Death Dies Too
They say everything must die,
But there's no need to shout;
The very reason ALL must die,
Is our ticket OUT.
Some folks think,
When they die,
They ain't comin' back.
They think life
Double-crossed them, so,
They think Death's
Got nothing to show.
But DEAHT DIES too;
Don't let your body kid you;
Death dies too,
And then you re-live you.
You could be dead a million years;
Who's counting when you're dead?
The next thing you know,
You're staring at the mirror,
With a million years gone from your head.
Death dies too,
Doomed, just like you;
Death must die, and that is why,
You're back
In the blink of an eye.
"And nothing can we call our own but death
And that small model of the barren earth
Which serves as paste and cover to our bones.
For God's sake, let us sit upon the ground
And tell sad stories of the death of kings." W. Shakespeare
"And what the dead had no speech for, when living,
They can tell you, being dead: the communication
Of the dead is tongued with fire beyond the language of the living." T.S.
Eliot
"While man is growing, life is in decrease;
And cradles rock us nearer to the tomb.
Our birth is nothing but our death begun." Edward Young

therefore they do not believe in dying completely." Albert Camus
