#10 Spring Concert
When children sing,
Daisies dance across a stage
Filled with smiles
With young dreams
With love swooping in,
On a happy blend of
Music and words announcing
April rain and May flowers.
When children sing,
Violets open, their fragrance
Wafting across the air
Along with anthems to spring,
To glee, to the wonder of harmony
And a world filled with lilting laughter
And lasting peace.
When children sing
Rhythm pours from their hearts
Blending with the sweet melodic sounds
Of merrymaking set to music
And perky, exhilarated tones
Spilling with each breath from their mouths.
When children sing
Those who take time to listen
Find gifts of the spirit
To take home and nurture
For a lifetime of contentment
And memories of the heart.
When childhood dies, its corpses are called adults and they enter
society, one of the politer names of hell. That is why we dread children, even if we love
them, they show us the state of our decay. Brian Aldiss
There was never a child so lovely that his mother wasn't glad to get him to sleep. Ralph
Waldo Emerson
Often parents are working to solve problems without knowing what the real problem is.

The end of childhood is when things cease to astonish us. When the world seems
familiar, when one has got used to existence, one has become an adult. Eugene Ionesco

Sadly, adults as well as children often put off doing things because they fear that
