The price we pay for love that’s untamed
Why should we tame this love that caused such pain
Our love flows freely throughout our veins
The choices we make, the consequences we sustain
The price we pay for love I can’t explain
This love we have shouldn’t be tame
This love we have, it feels so addicted
It brings you down but then gets you lifted
How it flows through your body, bounce around in your mind
Rip through your soul, you’ll feel so divine
The price we pay for love should’ve been a crime
It’ll steal your thoughts, break you apart
Make you cry but then mend your heart
Where the loneliness walks and lovers dance in the dark
The price we pay for love, see I’ve placed my bid
Where sinners sin not knowing what they did
The power ruled by love made us who we are
The price we pay for love a wise man once said,
"I’d rather had loved and lost than to not love at all"
Either give me unconditional love or witness me fall"
The love he spoke is the love I seek
The love that whispers this love doesn’t speak
The price we pay for love doesn’t come cheap
